'The two beautiful sisters from the Saarland are a blast from an artistic point of view. Both are also soloists, but especially as a duo they convince with technical mastery, profound musicality and - above all - perfect harmony. They perform the two rarely heard Liszt Elegies, which are the center of their new CD, in an atmospherically intense manner. And they also stay true to the other two works, Edvard Grieg's first sonata and César Franck's famous A major sonata: their Grieg sounds poetic and fine, and with Franck they show that a veritable fire burns in them as well.'
